The LookUps page is where an Organization customizes the list of available options in each of the system's drop down box.
Most LookUp tables are customizable by the user. The tables are pre-populated with rSquared standards; however, Client Administrators may additional entries to certain drop down boxes.
For example, when abstracting a Lease, a user may add Documents to the Lease. "Lease Document Type" is one of the fields abstracted when adding a document to a Lease. The choices available for that drop down field are defined on the LookUps page.

Adding a LookUp
- Select the LookUp from the (i) Navigation Tree; or (ii) the “Select LookUp Type” drop down box at the top of the screen. The screen will populate with existing LookUp table entries. Entries in gray are system values that cannot be edited or deleted. Entries in black are those that have been entered by a Client Administrator and may be edited or deleted.
- Click “Add,” and enter a Description and Abbreviation for the LookUp table entry. The “Owner” field will default to “Client,” as this is not a system default entry.
- Click “Save” to save the LookUp table entry. This entry will now be available within the LookUp table in the applicable section of rAbstract.
