#, Code & Name throughout the Application

Throughout the application, the row number (#), Code, and Name fields for named item expedites, line items, etc. follow the same rules.

# is the immutable chronological row number.

Code is a naming convention or an abbreviated name that is listed in the combo box wherever applicable. Upon add, the Code for newly inserted rows default to an auto-generated, editable unique value, e.g., MktLse001, MktLse002, etc.

Alert: The Code is required and has a 20 character maximum that does not accept commas or asterisks.

Name is an optional description with a 50 character maximum.

Note: For Line Items, the Name will be displayed on the Cash Flow Report.
