Replace & Delete

rDCF will not allow the user to delete a record that is being referenced elsewhere in the application, i.e., an "in-use" record. If a delete on an "in-use" record is attempted, a pop-up screen will appear that displays where the record is currently in use.

Clicking  (Download icon) generates a text file listing the data that is listed in the pop-up window.

A user has two options:

1. From the combo box, select a different record and then click the "Replace & Delete" button. The in-use record will be replaced by the record selected in the combo box (thereby rendering it no longer in use) and will then be deleted.
2. Click the "Cancel" button, in which case the in-use record will not be deleted.
