During implementation, an Organization is created with at least one User with Organization Admin rights. Once that happens, the Org Administrator has the ability to create all the rest of the Roles & Permissions as needed. It is here at Client Admin User Security where Client & Budget Admin Roles & Permissions are assigned, as well as, Budget access & Portfolio assignments.
Enable and Assign
Client Administrator(s) - Pane 1
- Click "Edit" on the pane 1 toolbar.
- Go to the Role Name field and assign the appropriate Client Role for the user.
- Change Client Status to Enabled and click "Save" on the toolbar or right-click select from the menu.
Note: If your organization uses Pipeline Reports, this is where access to Pipeline Portfolios (n) are assigned.
User(s) for Budget(s) - Pane 2
- Select the User to be granted access in pane 1 and click "Edit" on the pane 2 toolbar or right-click select from the menu.
- Go to the Role field and assign the appropriate role for the user and change Status field to Full Access or Reports Only and click "Save" on the toolbar or right-click select from the menu.
Note: Budget Roles are independent of Client Roles.
Building Access within a Budget - Pane 3
- Click the "Attach Portfolios" button on the pane 3 toolbar and the "Attach Portfolio Wizard" window appears.
- Choose from the Available Portfolios on the left and move them to the Assigned Portfolios using the arrows.
- Click "Save." At this point, User(s) will have access to the appropriate Budgets and Buildings within the assigned Portfolios.
