Located on the Budget Admin General toolbar, JDE Export allows users to export to Excel or MDB across single or multiple accounts over multiple years.
Directions:
- Click the "JDE" button; the window appears:
- Source
- Building - Export based on Selected Buildings (a subset of the Selected Portfolios). Select Portfolio(s) and then, Buildings.
- Portfolio - Export based on Selected Portfolio. When Source = Portfolio, do not move over buildings; the export will include all buildings in the Selected Portfolios.
- Export Type - Excel (.xlsx), MDB (.mdb)
- Start & End - Manually enter dates or use the calendar icon to assist.

- Available Portfolios > >> << < Selected Portfolios - "Available" field lists all Portfolios assigned to the current user. Export/query will include all buildings in the Selected Portfolios.
- Available Buildings > >> << < Selected Buildings - "Available" field lists all buildings included in the "Selected." Only assign "Selected Buildings" when Source = Building.
- Available Accounts > >> << < Selected Accounts - Lists all accounts from the Chart of Accounts whose Status = Active & Inactive. Export/query will include "Selected."

- Enter applicable detail and click "Begin Export." In the Status field, the application will cycle through all of the necessary tables: Generating file, please wait. When finished, the user can download the file in either an Excel (.xlsx) format or an open Argus database (.mdb - Microsoft Access database) based upon the selected Export Type parameter.
- Next, "Click here to download the file." The user is then prompted to "Open" and/or "Save" the file locally.
