Many aspects of the budget can be managed here on the Budget Admin General page.
Budget Admin General Page Sections
Status
Budget Status:
- Active - Full availability and functionality to all assigned (i.e., editing all aspects of the budget is enabled if assigned).
- Inactive - A soft delete. Inactive budgets are hidden throughout the application, including: Dashboard, Budget Admin sliding panel, Client Admin User Security & reports. At any time, an Administrator may set the Status back to "Active" in order to resurrect the budget.
- Locked - Additions, edits, deletes, and imports are disabled throughout the budget.
- Administrator Only - The budget can only be accessed by users assigned the Budget Role, Project Administrator.
- Active/Recovery Calc Locked - Disables the ability to calculated recoveries on the Rent Roll tab.
- Active/Recovery Calc - Spec Only - Only calculates recoveries for speculative tenants (i.e., Rent Roll records assigned the Lease Statuses of Speculative New, Speculative Renew, Approved New, & Approved Renew) based on reforecasted expenses without affecting recoveries for existing tenants.
Budget Type: The "Type" is applied/assigned during the budget creation process; it can be changed here to any other Type.

Budget Description: Name of budget
RISE Export: Reverse RISE export - Include, Exclude
Alert: Reverse RISE export is limited to two budgets.
Default Chart: Read only; assigned when the budget is created via the Budget Wizard.

Budget Begin: Start date of budget cycle/term. Set when the budget was created via the Budget Wizard, imported via RISE, or created by rSquared. To change a budget's term, go to Client Admin Budgets and copy the budget using the Budget Wizard.
Budget End: End date of budget cycle/term. Set when the budget was created via the Budget Wizard or imported via RISE, or created by rSquared. To change a budget's term, go to Client Admin: Budgets and copy the budget using the Budget Wizard.
Project Manager: List of all Users assigned to the current budget.

Report Start:
Variance Tab Report: - Sets the default financial report for use on the Variance tab.
Default Years Input: If not set, defaults to 1. For multi-year budgets, this sets the number of years that allow manual user editing on the budgeting tabs, i.e. Expense Tab, etc.; e.g. 3 year budget: if set to 1, Inflation needs to assigned for the remaining 2 years and these years are not editable in the Budgeting Tabs unless the Yrs Input is overridden on the tabs themselves.
Default Inflation: For multi-year budgets. List of all available Budget level Inflation expedites.
Budget Notes: Text entered here does not appear on any reports or exports; it is purely informational for budget administrators.
Quickpick Reports
Sets the defaults when running Quick Pick Reports using the Reports sliding pane.
Variance 1 - 5: Defaults when running comparison reports from the Reports, Quick Pick sliding pane in a building. Drop-down lists applicable Budget Admin: Variances.
Tenant Income: When running the Tenant Detail & Tenant Income Leasing Reports as Quick Picks from the Reports sliding pane, only return results from the assigned lease statuses.
Recovery Pool: Deprecated - soon to be removed

Calc Budget: Drop-down lists all Client Admin Budgets. Budget uses the assigned budget's expenses to calculate tenant recoveries.
Gross Up: Leased, Rentable
