Note: Common Building Documents are service agreements, financial agreements and management agreements. Tenant Leases are not usually considered Building Documents.
Adding
- Select "Building Documents" from the Navigation Tree and click "Add" from the Pane 1 Toolbar.
- Complete:
- Document Name: (text field to be typed)
- Document Type: (select from drop down)
- Execution Date Type: (select from drop down)
- Execution Date: (date field to be typed)
- Inventory Status: (select from drop down)
- Select "Save."
- After selecting "Save," Pane 2 becomes available for editing. Highlight the document to be edited in Pane 1.
- Select "Edit" and specify Document Details, including:
- Receipt Date: (text field to be typed)
- Medium Type: (select from drop down)
- Physical Location: (text field to be typed)
- URL: (text field to be typed)
- User Doc Name: (text field to be typed)
- Document Description: (text field to be typed)
- Select "Save."
Uploading
Info: A document can also be uploaded by selecting ‘Upload File’ and navigating through the "Upload Document" pop-up window.
- Select "Building Documents" from the Navigation Tree and highlight the document to be edited in Pane 1.
- In Pane 2, select "Upload Document," to open the pop-up box.
- Select "Browse" and locate the document to be uploaded from available files.
- Highlight the document to be added.
- Select "Upload Selected File."
- Select "Save."
Deleting
- Select "Building Documents" from the Navigation Tree and highlight the Building Document to be deleted in Pane 1.
- Select "Delete."
Editing
- Select "Building Documents" from the Navigation Tree and highlight the Building Document to be edited in Pane 1.
- Select "Edit."
- Make the appropriate changes, then select "Save."
