Metrics (Export)

Metrics Export, located on the Budget Admin General toolbar, allows a user to export Calculation Metrics to Excel and MDB.

Directions:

1. Click the "Metrics" button; the window appears:
   • Source
     • Building - Export based on Selected Buildings. Select Portfolio(s) and then, Buildings.
     • Portfolio - Export based on Selected Portfolio. Do not move over buildings when Source = Portfolio; the entire portfolio will be included in the export.
   • Group
     • Building
       • If Calculation Metric Type = Occupancy, the export will return NRA, Occupied Area, Vacant Area, Occupied %, Avg. Occupied Area, Avg. Vacant Area, Avg. Occupied
       • If Type = Charge, the export will return 3 lines per asset:
         1. Charge occupied area as defined by Occ Metrics
         2. Charge Total: Total of all charges selected under Charge Codes
         3. Charge PSF: Charge Total/Charge Occupied Area
       • If Type = Expirations & Expirations +1, the expiration dates are pushed out 1 day to match leasing activity with occupancy.
       • If Type= Expiry Charge & Expiry Charge +1, the export returns 3 lines per asset:
         1. Expirations as defined by the Occ Metrics
         2. Expiry Rate: Total of all charges selected under Charge Codes
         3. Expiry Rate PSF: Expiry Rate/Expiration square footage.
     • Portfolio
       • If Calculation Metric Type = Occupancy, the export returns NRA, Occupied Area, Vacant Area, Occupied %, Avg. Occupied Area, Avg. Vacant Area, Avg. Occupied %.
       • If Type = Charge, the export will return 3 lines for the portfolio of selected assets:
         1. Charge Occupied Area as defined by Occ Metrics
         2. Charge Total: Total of all selected under Charge Codes
         3. Charge PSF: Charge Total/Charge Occupied Area.
       • If Type = Expiration & Expirations +1, the export will return a single line for portfolio of assets.
       • If Type = Expiry Charge & Expiry Charge +1, the export will return 3 lines for the portfolio:
         1. Expirations as defined by Occ Metrics
         2. Expiry Rate: Total of all charges selected under Charge Codes
         3. Expiry Rate PSF: Expiry Rate/Expiration square footage
     • Tenant Detail
       • If Calculation Metric Type = Occupancy the export returns 2 lines per tenant: Occupied Area & Average Area.
       • If Type = Charge, the export will return a line for every tenant, but only of the selected Charge Codes.
       • If Type = Expiry Charge & Expiry Charge +1, the eport will return "N" lines for each tenant: 1. Expiry: square footage expiring. 2. N: Total by Charge Codes. 3. N: PSF of Charge Codes.
   • Output - Excel or MDB
   • Start & End - Enter dates manually or use the calendar icon to assist.

2. Enter/assign applicable detail and click "Begin Export." "Generating file, please wait..."
3. After the file has been generated, Click here to download the file. The user is then prompted to "Open" and/or "Save" the file locally.

Info: The created files contains the fields: BudgetName, ExportStart, ExportEnd, Source, SourceName, CalcMetric, CalcMetricCode, LineType, LineCode, LineDescription, M1- (month) and Ann1- (annual).
