The Argus Export utility is located on the toolbar of the Budget Admin General (multi-building export) and Building Admin General (single building export).
Note: Argus Export only creates a model. It cannot update a model.
Directions:
- Click the "Argus" button; the "Export to Open Argus" window appears:

- Building - Export based on Selected Buildings. Select Portfolio(s) and then, Buildings.
- Portfolio - Export based on Selected Portfolio. Do not move over buildings when Source = Portfolio; the entire Selected Portfolio will be included in the export.
- Chart Map - A summary roll-up for analysis purposes based on the primary Chart of Accounts, i.e. "Repairs & Maintenance" rather than itemizing each component of R&M
- Version - Argus 15 and 14
- RevEX/Capital Amts - Annual (default), Monthly
- Vacancy Loss %: Brought over on a static basis.
- Credit Loss %: Brought over on a static basis.
- Term: Defaults to 21 years
- Reimb. Method: Calendar Reimb. w/Fiscal Inflation (default), Fiscal Reimb. w/Fiscal Inflation, and Calendar Reimb. w/Calendar Inflation. (Argus reimbursement inflation methodology)
- General Inflation: None (default), 3%, Or a named Inflation. A user can share inflation rates across buildings, but this is normally not managed on a building by building basis.
- Market Inflation: None (default), 3% , or a named Inflation
- Tenant Recoveries: Pro-rata (default), Fixed Charges, Pro-rata & Fixed Charges. Brings over recovery definitions only if they have been modeled.

- Enter applicable data and click "Begin Export." In the Building/Status field, the Argus Export functionality will cycle through all of the necessary tables displaying, Generating file, please wait. When finished, the user can download an open Argus database (.mdb - Microsoft Access Database).
- Next, "Click here to download the file." The user is then prompted to "Open" and/or "Save" the file.
